Usually the comedy movies make people laugh and happy. But did you ever cry for a comedy movie? I did. Lately I watched a comedy movie called Click. Michael Newman has a remote control which can control his life. He can speed it up or skip some parts. Everything were messed up at last. He missed many important parts in his life. His wife also divorced with him. At last he felt sorry to use this remote control and it's the end of his life already. I was sad and cried for it. But as all comedy movies, it will have a happy ending. But this movie does have some moving parts.

oh yes i do...many times! i think comedy films are not just made to make people laugh...coz usually, its stories are something serious and yes moving...its just actors are doing it in a comedy manner but if we really focus ourself on the story and not just the acts...i think most comedy movies have touching parts...
the recent comedy that i have watched that make me cry is the movie called "Step Brothers" i just forget the name of the actors...the movie is good, acting is nice and yes it really makes me laugh out loud! but on the last part of the movie when one of the lead actor sings this song...and past is suddenly going back on everybody's thought...oh oh...i just find my self wiping my own tears! hehehe
maybe its the joy and overwhelming feeling...i just don't understand but i really feel something in my heart that triggers my tears to fall...

Hi there!
I have seen a lot of comedy movies that made me cry. But yes in the end a comedy movie is always a happy ending.
I like comedy movies that has a deeper meaning and not just full of gags that make people laugh. I like movies that has something to impart to it's viewers. Some people also say that comedians are the best in making people cry and I believe that.
Ciao!

I think I've actually watched this movie. Wasn't the lead actor Jim Carrey? This movie is OK. It's a comedy, but it has sadness in it at the same time. I think this movie emphasizes the moral lesson of accepting hardships in your life no matter what because even hardships make life worth living. It's like looking at both sides of a coin. You can't appreciate the good things in life if you've never experienced bad things.

I did think that movie was sad as well as funny. But i did not cry over it. I am a movie crier but i think it would have to be more tragic and realistic than a life controlling remote. It is very sad to think he would have had to go through that longer without the remote even though he could have changed the decision made. I think they were trying to show us not to be absent in our lives.

Like you I have. It seems when I watch a movie I really REALLY get into it. I dont watch them often thou. I watched the Princess Diaries with my daughters and at parts I laughed until I bawled like a baby. Then there were a few scenes that made me cry when it came to her thinking about her dad. Yeah Im a bawl baby! lol

I watched that movie a year ago. and I did cry too! It's a nice movies. Though basically it is a comedy movie, it's an eye opener for those who would like to control everything not knowing that they are loosing a lot on the other side of it. So, you are not alone!!!!

Never. What makes anyone cry in comedy movie? Everybody knows that it is not real and that too comedy and I do not find single reason to cry for someone in comedy movie. There is only laugh and laugh and lot of humor.

Hi youless! I haven't seen you lately. Where have you been? It's good to see you back.
No, I never have cried at a comedy. Just about all of the comedies I've seen are funny. Some of them are a little too silly in my opinion. Kathy.

no, but sometimes i laugh so hard that tears will come to my eyes. i have not seen any movies that does not have a serious part to it even though they are comedy. they are about people's life or problems and even though they are funny they still are sad parts too.

I'm a big crybaby. I am very emotional and cry at movies all of the time. I love a good comedy and sometimes they make me cry, too. Just depends on the show. I was watching a tv show last night and ended up bawling. It was so sad. I used to be embarrassed by it and my husband used to tease me, but now he leaves me alone. I love a movie that is good enough to get me emotionally involved. The Guardian was the most recent movie I watched and I bawled at the end of that one. UGH! My husband says "it's just a movie" but I don't care. It touched me anyway.

There are many comedies that have very tear-jearky endings. The guy and girl get together, or the family finally reunites and forgives each other...that kind of stuff. Over all, the movie is a comedy, but those happy endings always get s my tears flowing.
One of my favorite comedies, While You Were Sleeping, with Sandra Bullock and Bill Pullman, has my sides hurting usually from laughing even after watching it a bunch of times, but at the end I always have to reach for some tissue. Ok, I'm a big cry-baby.
