Have you recieve a important message from MYLOT?

Hi, Scooby! These things come up to settle controversies or let us all know about changes on the Lot. They're rare, but usually quite important.

Well, this proves that mylot is legitimate and not a scam site...or simply not going anywhere. i don't if i need to file any tax info. i have been in this site for months now, except that i got left out for 3 months. i had been paid twice and never in my life that i was required to do that tax thing.

I received this message and I don't think that it will effect me any as I don't earn that much here but it said that they are following rules and regulations and that some people will receive 1099 forms at the end of the year for their earnings on here. The government does say that we must pay on our earnings and many may not be that should be so mylot is doing what they need to do. I would say that there has been an audit or something that has brought it to their attention that some members are making more than allowed to be tax free. It shows me that they are not going to stop paying and that they are going to be here awhile.

Yes, I also did received such message. But this only applies to members who are in the United States. For members who are outside the United States, this does not apply considering that we have different tax setting and policies. So there is really no need to worry about it. But of course for members who are in the United States, then there is this form that they have to fill up.

I received that two days back and that is not applicable to me as my earnings are low and also I am not US citizen. Mylot like to stick on to the rules and regulations of the Government and is also the responsibility of the members who are in the earning limit specified.Previously , the earnings were not that much as we had only the discussion board and now as the tasks are available, the earnings also more and the members are supposed to give such details.

Hi scooby29, I havent received any message like that from mylot..I receive some messages like mylot digest and few notifications...but I havent received anymessage like the terms of tax..can u explain in detail about the terms of tax??pls respond soon..im waiting for your response..thanks in advance..Happy mylotting..!!
