virtual DJ is really great. I have been using it for years now. It even gets better when used with a controller.check this out

A friend of mine just installed this program into my computer. Its a really fun program to play with in general or actually mix beats. I've actually mixed quite a few mixtapes for friends that are dancers that need a particular mixtape for auditions and performances. It made it so much easier on them to not pay a professional DJ, when your local geek can do it for free! (or less than a professional DJ, hehehe). I've been playing a lot with the skipping features, it goes really well with a hard bass track or a dirty southern hip hop beat. Actually "Golddigger" by Kanye West and that Radiohead song from Romeo and Juliet, go really well together, if you slow down Kanye and fade it in with that skipping feature. It's kind of hard-core. Try it out. Let me know what you think.
I actually recommend using this program to your benefit financially. With the right playlist you could be a local DJ for house parties, school dances, without lugging heavy equipment to and from. People may not be impressed when you stroll through with just a macbook under your arm, but once you start playing a playlist that you created on Virtual DJ with scratches and effects and all...I think they may change their opinion.
Another cool mix is, "My Guitar Gently Weeps" by The Beatles and "I Wonder If Heaven Got a Ghetto" by Tupac. Its a really awesome mix of two songs to hear.
