No it is not an insult but its not a good thing. That means he is pissed at that moment and felt like you interupted something. But he should respect you as a lover and not tell you that crap. Cos i know you wouldn't tell him that kind of thing.

Depends on how he says it. If he tells you flat out that it is none of your business, yes that is an insult. If however he tells you that he doesn't want to talk about his work and let's you know that he still respects you for your question then it is not an insult. Either way you do not get an answer to your question but none of us are obligated to answer anyone else if we choose not to. How we handle that makes all the difference.

I would take it as an insult and it would cause some right royal trouble in the house...MIND YOU I dont question my husband on every little thing..but when I do ask him about something it would definately be in his best interest to NOT tell me its none of my business!

Even in an intimate relationship,we should leave some space for the other partner to have some privacy for their own.It doesn't matter how close you are,but you can't think alike and act alike.So,if he says it is none of your business,then he meant to handle it himself.So,don't take it as an insult but respect his privacy.Cheers!
