I am now 24 weeks pregnant with my first child. I am overweight, before I got pregnant. Right now I weigh less then I did before I got pregnant. Is it ok? What is a normal healthy weight gain month by month. I am over 5 months and didn't gain a pound. My belly is about the same size as it was before. It is a little rounder and harder but the same size. I have been pretty sick (morning sickness) since I was 3 months, nothing before and it is still going on now :(... could my baby not be getting enough nutrients???

I know that a small bump isn't always a tiny baby. People thought my bump was small and then in later pregnancy it grew. Your bump is round and hard so that sounds totally normal at five months pregnancy. Your bump should begin to grow over the rest of your pregnancy. Some ladies have a labor without knowing they are pregnant so some ladies don't have a large bump but are pregnant. My baby girl was born last month and she was 8 pounds. I suggest you eat a healthy diet. Good luck with your pregnancy and remember a few less pounds that before you were pregnant might be good.
