How long does it take to get an article approved on Associated Content?

I submitted an article to AC back on July 10th. After waiting for several days, gave up, and posted my article to another site. This morning - July 15th - 5 DAYS LATER - they finally review my article and deny it because I posted it to another site. Which I admit, I did because it was taking too long and I wanted to submit my article somewhere... But my question - 5 days?? It takes five days to get an article reviewed and posted to Associated Content?? Is this usual?

Associated Content takes a very long time to review articles. It can take up to over a week sometimes depending on how many people have submitted articles. It is a great website to use and i have been using for over a year and would never stop using it even though it takes them a while to review articles now. They pay me every month for the views i get and its great and i enjoy working on that site very much, so i hope you don't stop either as it does take a little while for reviews and other things.
