Hi vivian, how are you?
I think i can say i have been to not only the capital in my country, and also almost every parts of my country... LOL.. I am in Singapore... A tiny dot on a map.. So going to my so-called captial (orchard or CBD) for that matter is just a matter of minutes...
Oh.. sometimes, singapore is known as a city too.. hmm.. so my answer doesn't count... LOL...
I only wish i can save enough money to visit your country as well as all over the world.. I wish i can travel around the world before i die... So that is still quite a period of time for me to complete that task...
I am sure you will have a chance to go beijing sometimes... =

The capital city of my country is Washington DC and I have not visited. My son got to go a few years ago with his school and really enjoyed the trip. he said there was a lot to see and very educational. He would like to take us someday soon. We like to travel but the current economic situation has put a limit on what we can do right now. It is one of the places I would like to visit maybe in the next few years.

I am from Denmark and our capital is Copenhagen. I have been there quite a few times in the past. I live on another island, but I go to Copenhagen every once in a while for instanse when I want to buy something in one of the shops. In a few days I am going to Copenhagen again. I am going to buy some magazines in a town close to Copenhagen and while I am there I want to visit Copenhagen. There is a famous art museum where I haven't been and I would like to visit that place.

I come from China and yeah, I have been to Beijing. It's nothing strange that a person hasn't been to its capital. I know a businessman who has been to many cities except Beijing, which is very very weird because businessman has more chance than other people to travel around.
The impression Beijing local people leave on me is not good. my friends also agree. Beijing is also like a melting pot and its develpment mainly due to the hard work by people outside Beijing. Its local people are often cunning and mean and think of themselves too highly boasting they are living right under the roof of ancient emporor.
Believe it or not, you can prove this on your own.

I have not been to Bejing too. I long for those place, such as Tiananmen Gate, Imperial Palace, Yuanmingyuan Ruins, Bejing Hutong and so on. As the capital of China, it is very beautiful and supreme to me. I believe that i will go to Bejing in the new further. Wish everyone can enjoy their travel in Bejing.
