don't tell that electron have negative charge and proton has positive. positive is attracted towards negative. tell me what's the main logic behind that. similar to that how a magnet is attracted by other one. all these questions troubles every one's mind. if you could answer these questions then you would be world famous.

its simple my friend.. the world is designed in such a way, that opposites attract.. adam n eve, u know it.. after that ppl when they came to know that two things attract, they named it in opposite ways.. electron n proton, magnet, minus into plus, all negate.. if u have heard the concept that to be stable in the world, it should have least energy, n least energy is when its neutral or neutralised.. so came the concept of neutralisation of everythin.. hope i ve helped u in someway.. :)

Let me ask you have you ever taken two magnets and put two of the same charges close to each other. If you notice they tend to push eachother way. If you flip one they attract. I believe that this occurs because of the same principles as gravity. The proton pulls the electron and the electron pushes the proton, thus when you look at atoms you have a perfect orbit of electrons around a proton. Magnets are nothing more than protons and electrons. I love chemistry and I love to think outside the box. Have you ever wondered why the solar system looks like an atom with the proton (sun) being orbited by electrons (planets)? I have. I believe that there is much more to atoms and molicules then scientists will ever beable to find out. I believe our solar system is nothing but a huge atom that contains smaller atoms and so on. I just find this interesting idea. Happy Mylotting!
