Where I live there are sometimes scheduled water lock off or at times the water pressure is so low that not all the pipes in the house have water running in them .In response to these times the local commission may truck water to our community or tell us when they will open their main and allow us to collect water .C consequently during these times all residents are trying to collect water and as such it places tremendous pressure on the system and in order to maximize the water we collect we often turn on all the pipes even the bathroom one ,yeah even the bathroom one!!! ,lol
Now have you ever had to collect water from the taps in your bathroom for whatever reason ? ,and if your answer is yes what were the circumstances and did you have any qualms drinking the water ?

I have no problem drinking water from the bathroom sink & sometimes i do. Here it's not any different than the water that comes from the kitchen sink. When i have my portable dishwaher going & need water in a pan i just go get it from the bathroom sink & think nothing about it.

I never ever thought of such a question. I know its the same water coming out of taps, either from the bathroom, kitchen, or elsewhere. Yet the thought of drinking water coming out of the bathroom tap makes me feel yucky....

Dear friend,
I had never drank water from bathroom tap, may be from kicten tap or dinner room taps I had caught drinking water that too when I was a child. But now I do not remeber if I had drank water from tap. I use other cold water, juice any other drinking water but not from tap after I had passed my youth. Moreover the tap water is not my good for drinking in our area.

Yes, at my in-law’s place, there was a separate tap outside the bathroom for collecting drinking water…that tap broke down once and we had to fill water from the bathroom. There was the kitchen tap as well, but it was always being used in the kitchen…so to speed up the process, we collected water from the bathroom tap. We all felt like eeeewwwww in drinking it but it was only for a short time as a new tap was installed very soon.

I drink the water from my bathroom tap when I take my pills. It comes from the same place as the water in your kitchen comes from. The only difference is that you may use a water filter or use bottled water because water from all the taps is hard and tastes horrible, like it does in a dry spell here. I never had qualms about drinking the bathroom water. After all, it does not come from the toilet.

Hi, Ronnyb!
I do this just about every morning, to take my pills while getting ready for work. It's no different from water from the kitchen tap!

The drinking water in my house comes from the city water system. I could drink from any faucet and get the same quality of water. I would therefore have no problem whatsoever getting water from the bathroom sink faucet. After all, that's the water I use to brush my teeth....

Hello my friend ronnyb Ji,
As a Retired soldier's wife, my hubby has many situation in his career, when he took out water from lav sank and after boiling he drank. It is the circumstances under which people do to save themselves. These are life saving situation and anyone can come across. I do not think any thing is wrong. There is nothing that seperate water supply would be maintained for drinking and seperate for bath-room taps. May God bless You an dhave a great time.

I've never had to collect water from the taps to save. I guess the only thing I've done that might relate to this would be that my mom fusses me for drinking tap water. She thinks it would be better for me to drink bottled water, when in reality the only difference is the taste of it. Are you having to do this because of a drought situation?

I have drank water from my bathroom sink before. It was alot closer to get water there, than to go into the kitchedn to get some, since my bedroom is right next to my bathroom.

Hello,
As far as I know all water is clean to drink as long as it never in a dirty place at the first time. It is just run through the pips to your bathroom and it does the same thing to your kitchen sink. well, most home have filter for drinking water. If you scare to drink water that you collect in your bathroom then you can boil it... it is good too
