Just blowing off steam I guess. I'm a new user to this site, and wasn't totally sure where to start at. But, I thought this is probably a humbdinger to throw out as a beginning.
Have you ever been in a situation, done something totally stupid and irrisponsible, then been sick over it for days afterwards? Like, can NOT get it off your mind, period?
Well, I did something just like that this past Saturday night, and it is literally making me crazy, and just sick inside.
My husband and I went out to a campground where his brother was camping, proceeded to get drunk. From a point where he decided to dive off the side of a pontoon into the water to go swimming, and I grabbed his wallet so it wouldn't get wet, until a point about 3 hours later, during that time, I LOST his wallet. Gone. All of our money with it, including all his identification, and his unemployment card. It's ALL gone. I'm sick inside.
I know, I KNOW how stupid it was. All of it, all the way around.
I am just SICK inside.
Just thought I'd share that one with you all to start out with.
I know, there's really no resulotion to this. No job, no nothing. It's pretty hopeless.
Thanks for listening.

Don't be sad for all this, you should value your life much, when you just come out of it, then you can do better. Frustration, impatience these are all the things let you down.

It could have been much worse, but I know it is very frustrating. Don't beat yourself up to bad, just post lots and lots on mylot and make more money. I think the last thing I did that just made me sick to my stomach was...well, we won't talk about it, but months later it still eats me up, and I want to cry. I think I made the right decision. So, my heart is at war with my head. You'll get the cards back (well, you'll get new ones), and hubby will find a job. And if you get really sick of beating yourself up, he should have stashed his wallet in a safe place earlier...its really not your responsibility. Hope you feel better, welcome to mylot!!!

That should be a lesson to everyone.....even when you try to do something good bad sh$t happens!!!! Actually realize that it was just material possessions, the cards can be replaced, the wallet as well. At least you didn't loose him or the boat!!! That would have made an interesting story.
