What have you been donig lately?

It is been the middle of the summer already, weather has been really awful where I live, it is recorded as a worse summer ever in 105 years... because of that, I don't get to go to the beach often; not to be able to play badminton because of the rainny days and crazy winds... it is just awful.
Finally, we could have some nicer days lately, the temperature gets at least above 70 consistantly for almost a week, I have got a shellfishing license, I went to dig quahog with hubby last weekend, we brought our puppy to the pond and tried to do canoing together! It was pretty nice.
I got to do suntanning both yesterday and today, the sun is pretty and the temperature is acceptable, I get a little toasty now, I'm happy ^_^
I just hope more nice days will come, no more rainny crappy days anymore in this summer please... it is just aggravating when you see the weather is like that everyday...
So what you guys have been doing for the summer?
Did you take a vacation and go somewhere else?

even though my place is only got two kind of weather, either rainy season or hot season, still, currently, the weather is too hot. Sometimes it really unbearable to to even sit at my room and so I have to go out. As currently we have internet connection, I spend most of my time in front of my computer, surfing and reading and tried to find extra money. Before we have internet connection, usually I will walk around the village and play badminton, but now choosing internet instead and become more fatter even though not eating much.

I honestly havent been doing much - mostly working. I took about 6 days off and went camping at the lake - ok its only 10 min from home so its really not "true" camping but we like it that way. Read some books, went to the beach. I also mowed my lawn and weeded my garden a bit...atleast now my garden looks like it has rows not just a weed patch.

Hi mermaidivy, well we are having the usual HOT HOT summer here and we don't really enjoy being outside in the heat during the day but prefer to stay in where it is a bit cooler. Most days though we head out to the beach around 5pm and stay till about 8, it is the best time to go. It is nicer too to meet friends for coffee in the evening. Today though I'm heading out in the heat up to the next town an hour away to meet a friend on the beach there, and tomorrow there is a long lazy day planned out on a friends boat which has plenty of shade against the sun. I think at the weekend my son is heading into the mountains to camp with his friends family which will give me the chance to head up to a cooler bit of the mainland to stay with a friend in a place where it actually feels cold at night. Freedom from the humidity I hope.

Summer is here too. Acutally, as i live in the southern of my country, we don't really have winter and spring, we have warm weather the whole year. But of course , winter still colder than summer.
It's not rainny here, but super hot, just like you said, we can go out often unless you want to get burn off, so we have to stay at home. And i have to work. So no much fun time in the day time. But we can go swimming in a nice swimming pool sometimes which i think its really helps.

For summer hmmm iv been wakeboarding , surfing and taning all the cool fun stuff to do really im planing to vacation to Nova scotia( yes i live in canada lol ) _ i still have much to do this summer 1 thing i havent yet thow gone water sking on the lake i live on . i also have been partying like a animal almost every night

I havnt been doing much just been watching Star Trek The Next Generation which I love now never really watched it before but now im hooked on it. Ive already watched the first season and now im on the second season which ill be watching this show a lot lol.

Summer is finally here, nice and sunny. Keeps raining once in a while. I am looking forward to having a vacation on the Canadian Rockies, in the Banff National Park. That is one of my favorite places for spending summer holidays, very pleasant, and scenic region. I don't make it every year, but I hope to do it this summer.

Uhm, this might be a few seasons late.LOL But the general question can still be answered even if the season indicated is over.
These months should bring rains and cold winds in this part of the world but surprisingly it is sometimes still warm. But within the last 2 months, we had 4 strong typhoons visiting the country.
In response to your subject line question, I have been trying to fulfill all of the requirements that is needed so that I could enroll in that one particular subject that I have yet to be enlisted in. I attended a fiesta last Saturday then the whole family will be visiting dearly departed loved ones later today.
As for the summer, well, I remember going out with friends and attending a trade fair.^_^

After a night out on the town dinner, then dancing and bringin the gal home and making love for like 3 hours, she's asleep.
And here i am wide awake with a fresh pot of coffee, on the computer answering questions. LOL
I definately need to change my lifestyle.
