My boyfriend and I are going to WDW later this year! I am soooooo excited! It's our first vacation together! At least our first vacation alone together... we went to the beach a few years ago, but we stayed with his immediate and extended family. It's also my very first time going to Disney World! In fact, it's my very first time going to Florida! I used to go to Disneyland a lot as a child, but I've only been once in the past decade. And even then I've only been to the main park... I've never been to California Adventure.
We've been planning this trip for awhile now, but now it's really starting to come together! We've both gotten the time off work. And we just booked our hotel! We'll probably buy our airplane tickets this weekend. Then we'll get our theme park tickets later in the month and we'll be all ready to go!
We're staying in one of the value resorts... All Star Music. I really wanted to stay at Pop Century, but it was all booked up the week we're going.
I'm really, really, really excited! I don't know what I'm going to do between now and when we leave!
Have you been to any Disney theme parks? What are your favorite attractions? What do you recommend I check out while I'm there?

Although the All Star Hotels and Pop Century are all value resorts, I don't understand why Pop Century is always the first to run out of rooms. Anybody got any idea why this is so?
Anyway, last time when I visited Walt Disney World, I stayed in Animal Kingdom Lodge, it's a nice hotel especially if you love nature and animals. I could see giraffs walking pass from my room balcony!
For attractions, I like the ones in EPCOT, like Spaceship Earth, El Rio, etc.

Maybe Pop Century fills up first because it's newer? Also it has it's own bus line and doesn't share buses with other resorts? Also the tax for Pop Century is 12.5% where as the tax for the All Stars is 13%. So it's slightly cheaper to stay at Pop Century!

Really? No wonder. I never noticed the difference between Pop Century and the other value resorts in terms of bus lines and tax. That makes sense to me and explains why Pop Century is always the first value resort to fill up fastest. Thanks for your information.

Oooh, all Star Music,...nice. We had a deal here in the u where if you upgraded to a more expensive hotel you'd get free dining which would literally save you hundreds of dollars if you added up the prices so that was a really good deal.
It could like you'll really enjoy yourself.
Rides to do: Kali river rapids, jungle cruise, its a small world, indiana jones, tower of terror, peter pan, rock n rollercoaster, expedition everest, big thunder mountain, haunted mansion
I have been to disneyland paris by the way.
Do some backstage tours at disney world they really are worth it
