Well now that I am in college I find that it is a lot different from all previous grade schools. I really do miss school from middle school up. It seems like those years are the best years of school and you meet so many people and usually have a good time being around people. Even though I dislike school I dont dislike being around other people. That is the only thing I could stand about school is talking to people. The work we did in school was really pointless and usually it was just busy work. So my question is what do you miss about school or if you are still in school what do you dislike or like currently in school.

well i never cared for school much when i was there. I went, and i made good grades up until about 11th grade, when i just didnt really care anymore. I think what i miss most was marching band and color guard. I made a lot of good friends, and i miss all the performances, and the rehearsals. It was a lot of work, but it was well worth it in the end. Color guard was my stress reliever, and when i was done with high school, i didnt have that stress reliever anymore. I guess for the most part i miss going to school, then ditching class with my best friend to go to the beach, all the parties, the performances i did in band, the friends i had that went their seperate ways. Sometimes i wish i could go back in time and do it all over again, but i dont think i would do anything different. I would still have probably cut class, and done all the stupid things i did. Dont get me wrong i still passed my classes, but i wasnt a straight A student by any means my senior year. I just want to have the good times over again.

haha I used to do a lot of the same things. I used to ditch a lot and I wasnt always the perfect student either. But when I was in school I would try my best all the time. I just wish I could go back and enjoy the good times and also remove the negative ones. One always realizes how good something was when it is too late. So my message to everyone, enjoy what is in front of you right now because it might not always be there. Take advantage of all the time you have, and make the most out of everything. Thanks for responding!

I can't wait to hear the answers to this question!
I am currently a student working toward a degree in elementary education. I do like that I am around other people in school. I am also a stay-at-home mom, so school is a place where I can be myself instead of "mom." I also dislike busy work, which is given even in some college classes. I think the best thing about being in school as an adult is that I never stop learning. Life is not boring this way.

Good luck getting your degree. I agree that learning does make life interesting. I mean if I could I would teach just so I can pass my knowledge and anything else down to someone else especially younger people.
