What do your Children think Thanksgiving is all about? Ask Them and post it here. I feel myself its about being with family/friends.. togetherness... My daughter is too young to understand. She is only 4.

My son is only 3. He doesnt understand either. My sister told me that Thandsgiving was a day to give thanks for everthing that we have, and yes of course, turkey!!!!

I guess you will keep the tradition alive, as the child gets older... Ask your child often , every year what they think Thanksgiving is about.. If your not satisfied with answer, get out the books, movies and educate...
