why do people lie about there age nneed to comment on!!!

now i know why people lie about there age this is something where gonna keep going discussions after discussion know i am not innocent i lied about mah age maybe a couple of times but not all the time because its point less there gonna figure out anyway now get back to this and tell me what yall think

I think young people may lie about their age because they want to do stuff that they aren't legally old enough for (getting a particular job/getting into clubs etc) or because they want their opinions to be taken more seriously. They may say they're younger than they are to get concessions on fares or entry fees or to excuse behaviour. (I cant actually remember that far back!! 
)
Older people may also say they're older to get seniors discounts or they may say they're younger simply because they dont want to seem old. I reckon your age is just a number and its no biggie... I dont have a problem with people knowing I'm 55
