do you guys have one? its really expensive to get. the data plan for the t-mobile g1 is atleast $25 a month. i don't see a point in paying that much for internet, especially when i have one at home and have wife on my laptop if i'm out. I think its especially stupid how t-mobile makes you purchase the data plan in order to even activate the g1.

I do not like data plans. I usually hav full access to wifi access hotspots. I see no reason to pay for additional airtime wheb that is what we are already paying them for. It is unny that we get att tv and internet and when i get a phone i get no discount Godbless

that is dumb. It seems that the G1 is just like the iphone since at&t makes you buy data plans for it before they activate it which ups the price per month to a lot. I just wish that these good phones could maybe be like any other phone. It seems like they are just trying to make more money but they are probably just pushing people away from their product unless there is something that phone has to offer such as the cure for cancer or aids? My current plan is a pretty basic one. I have 1000 anytime minutes and also unlimited texting since texting is really the only thing I do. I also have free nights and weekends and I pay about 30-40 a month which isnt really bad.

Hey, No I don't have a data plan for my mobile, I use the prepaid type. Many of my friends have phones that are on a plan, and some of them pay something like $69 per month, just for their phone and some credit to spend. It is too much if you ask me. Make sure you have a good day, Happy Lotting!!

I have the datat plan for my phone, which only costs me an extra $10 a month. That I can handle, but my son has a blackberry, and he has to be an extra $30 a month. I could have got a blackberry too, but I didn't want to have to pay that much more. I just want to be able to access the internet when I am not home so I can access mylot. The phone I have is 3G, which really makds the internet fast. It is my first cell phone with 3G. Some phones are equipped with wifi, but I don't have that but that is okay. I really don't ned wifi anyway. Good luck ti you and happy mylotting.
