Have you ever gotten sympathy cards when a pet dies?

When my horse Major was put down last friday I never expected sympathy cards! I have recieved 3! One was just for a pet! I appreciate the cards and all the hugs and the kind words! What also appreciate is the money I also got in the cards! Right now I'm not sure what to do with the money! Someone suggested a photo or scrape album. I never had that thought but it sounds like an idea I might do!

When my dog Petey passed away a couple years ago, my Niece and Nephew made me a sympathy card b/c they knew how upset I was. I still have it and it means a great deal to me. [b]~~AT PEACE WITHIN~~ **STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS**[/b]

I received a sympathy card from the vet when I had to put my cat down. Everyone else just gave me hugs. Which was much appretiated.

my family received a book from the vet after our dog at the time got hit by a car. we had him put to sleep as our dog was paralyzed and could hardly move. it was a book to read about where animals go after they pass away. the book was good especially for my young sister at the time who was very upset.
