I have many fears. Heights. Public speaking. Being alone. I try to overcome them every now and then but I cannot totally eliminate them. Most often I pray to overcome them. You? what are your fears? What have you done to try to overcome them?

i believe that each person has his/her own disabilities, we all do fear something or the other, for me it's mostly public speaking, i tend to get very self conscious... i think we can only overcome them when we face it more and more instead of avoiding it, but it can be really painful to do that initially but as time passes by we will get better and better, this thing mostly works with normal fear, coz phobia is another thing and we need councelling for that...

I am afraid of public speaking as well. Other then that not really nothing else that I am afraid of! Lucky me, hahaha. When i absolutely have to speak in public I just try not to think of the crowd or pray that the outcome will be great.
But praying is always good. : )

My fears are losing people close to me and driving on the high way by myself at night. The first one alot of people can relate to but the last one is something i dont tell people. Only my boyfriend knows about that fear. Im also deathly afraid of heights and the dark

Public speaking is one of my biggest fears also, I had to take a speech class not to long ago. Every time that I would get up to give the speech my whole body would sack and I would sweat. Around the last speech that I had to give it weren't quit as bad on me.

I do have lots of fears too. I'm afraid of snails, I'm afraid of getting a disease or even illness. I'm also afraid of speaking in public like you. Sometimes, being exposed to your fear will help you overcome them so i try that most of the time. And prayers too.Ü
