Oh,I can not swim?

Well, i have to admit that i can not swim and even though i spend sometime trying to learn the free-style, i failed. So do you guys all can swim and if so, which style?

I never learned to swim as a child and therefore decided to take lessons at the YMCA when I was 30-something. The first stroke I learned was crawl and that is what I do best. For the longest time I could not float on my back, but then finally I got the hang of it. Side stroke is good for keeping one's face out of the water, but I am not skilled at it, and if I want to get somewhere fast, I have to crawl. That I do pretty fast.

Well, I can swim, I like the free style since its not very tiring as compared to other styles. I do hope that you will be able to learn. Its just a matter of practice since all of us always have this buoyancy within. So there is no reason for you not to be able to learn to swim later on. Just enjoy and do it one step at a time.
