Is superstition an extension of belief ?

According to me if you trust a person you believe him in whatever he does.
But when you blindly believe on some things and start following them this leads to supertiton and it is called a superstitious belief.
What do you think, add your views to this discussion.

Hi hselial, Superstition is more a blind belief that has no substance in it. Most people are ready to believe in anything or everything that is related to God and Religion. This is because they don't want to analyse any issue related to it . There is some fear and faith attached to it which deters them to do so.It is the same with other kinds of beliefs related to other issues and people. I personlly see superstition as that belief that stems out of fear and blind faith..
