the office had requested to have the internet connection in our office. we thought we are the poorest among the offices since we don't have the access to the internet.at last the net service provider staff had just connected us to the net and now our lives seemed to be so exciting. how about you?does your office have internet connection?

Our office has internet connection but, unfortunately, there is a virus in our computer so my colleagues would be hesitant sometimes to plug-in their flash drives since it might get infected for some reason which I totally understand.
Its only just one desktop at our office so we really have to take turns when we type our reports or just browse the internet to check mail or the like. I sometimes log-in here in myLot at work and post a few comments every now and then. (^_^ )
It would be nice if everyone had a computer so that no one would have to wait their turn but, since our connection is not that well set-up, I think it will have conflict with the work that we do, which used internet phones (^_^")

well you can always suggest a budget to your boss. having the internet connection is already a need nowadays. before, people would say that having the net connection at home or in the office is a luxury. now it's already the opposite.jobs are being done faster and more convenient because of the internet. i can mention 1000000 and one reasons why all households should have the net connection.

At the moment, the internet connection is indeed among the things our employer considers in his budget. And the work place isn't actually what you can consider as an 'office' wherein you have to dress in office attire. Business is still small as it seems.
About internet connection.. well, having a computer is still considered a luxury to many households and that would include internet connection as well. If computers and connection given by service providers become affordable, I guess that's when it can be considered as something as a necessity. I mean, even with a lot of good reasons, if one can't afford it, I guess one can't have it yet..

well it's always a matter of choice. According to a study, nearly half of Internet users say the medium is just about becoming a necessity, and almost three-quarters use it to make better buying decisions too. Obviously this medium dramatically improves people's lives. Just likr in my case, engaging in those activities online was either "much or somewhat easier" than "the way I used to do it the other way. have a nice day ahead.

yes you're right.we need the net connection because we need a wide array of information form the internet. my other collegues and i really work hard to convince our boss to have the net connection in our workplace.now we can easily seek for something here in the net without any inconvenience for us.

To date I see there are still offices that are not hooked up with the net. I am amazed how office could function without it. Well right now you could also avail of having email and communication would be much faster than before. You could also start making your office interconnected with each other and I guess productivity can increase doing a such. But there are also downside on implementing a wired office network. It could also become counterproductive if the employees would delve on the net too much since it can also become a distraction to many things at work too. A good IT admin and guidelines should be implemented by your office as to its usage to balance things out.

yes that's true.sometimes we prioritize things not related to our work because of too much pre occupation in the net world.other important stuffs are taken for granted because of too much surfing on the net.

In my current place, there is only a modem that can connect four person at one times, so I suggest to make a wireless available in my working place. At first, some are hesitate and only a few agree with me, but still the idea proceed. I bought the router with my own money and my friend money first, and then me and my other friend, install the router. With me and my friend has no experience in installing the router, and to our hardship we managed to install it after a few tried. It was a sweet success. Now after a month of installing it, many other staff are also using it, including the person who opposed to it. Well, whether they want to pay or not, its up too them, but at least for me and my friends, we do everyone good.

well that's great teamwork of yours! it's always convenient and fun to have the internet connection wheresoever we are. the mere fact that we can access almost everything we enjoy the convenience of searching some stuffs that are hard to find in the archives. it's important for the students most especially since using the library with the obsolete books and other materials is already like a myth. i suggest that libraries should have computers too with internet connection.

yes! its important to have access to the net because we have service offices and we could simply chat to them if we and they need something or papers that are important for us to scrutinize. but we cannot use it for personal use its plainly in office usage only. well, its a govenment workplace and it does mean that what we are using are governements ownership and according to our civil service commission laws to abide that it is wrong using government offices things and anythings else.

as far as i know, there are offices that limits the time of browsing to avoid staff in abusing the time alloted for them.
