I'd like to get everyone's experiences with different brands of protein drinks. I have tried many of them myself and have found a few to be great and a few to be pretty disgusting. If you can, include how it tastes, how well it mixes with water or milk, and if it's expensive or not. Include the good, the bad, and the ugly.
Personally I really enjoy Dymatize Elite Whey, it tastes pretty good, is easy on the stomach, and it mixes without a blender. 70 servings cost about $40 which isn't too bad of a price. This is my favorite shake right now.
MuscleMilk in my opinion is the best tasting shake but it has a little too much fat in it for my liking.

Well I don't really see anything wrong with a protein shake but thats just me. I used EAS powder awhile ago, the vanilla flavor. Not too bad really, tasted pretty good with milk. Water was a different story though: had to chug that stuff. It mixed really well and it was like $25 for a bad, which for me lasted a whole semester, but I only used one scoop per shake, while it recommends to use 2. 23 g's of protein per scoop isn't too bad for the price. All-in-all it wasn't too bad, and I might go back to using it again.
One that I have heard is terrible is Body Fortress Super Whey. Looked at reviews of it online and probably 40% of the people said it made them pretty sick from the cheap creatine that is mixed in it. I know its really cheap, but its that cheap for a reason.

I agree with you about the EAS powder, it is pretty good. The myoplex shakes are really good but very expensive. Body Fortress Super Whey I believe is the stuff they sell at Walmart and I really would not buy protein supplements from Walmart unless it's EAS, Musclemilk, or another well known supplement company. I didn't know it was actually making people sick, cheap creatine will definitely give you some stomach issues.

Hi Hemi,
I never believed in Protein shakes. Its not something which I would recommened to some one either. Natural health is a wealth and its not to be wasted by using artificial products.
Never use artificial things to build your body as it will be having side effects on you later on. Eat well, sleep well and enjoy life .. health is bound to get better.
Cheers,
Tutul
