What is your favorite band (or bands) and what do you look for in music (beat, lyrics, just plain popularity etc.) Would be nice if you could put in a quote from one of the best songs you have ever heard :) For me it is probably 3 doors down, and I look for lyrics + great flowing music, "what happens to a man when, he spills his heart on a page and he watches words float away than hes feelings lie on the page alone, They`re waiting for someone who cares to read them, to open their eyes to see them to see if they can make his thoughts their own to find out, that maybe your life`s not perfect and maybe its not worth what he gives away."

I have a few favourite bands. Green day (love their new album), Fall out Boy, Rise against and The Offspring. I mainly look for lyrics and catchyness. I love some of the stuff fall out boy says. For example. "They say the captain goes down with his ship. So when the world ends will god go down with it." That one probably has to be my favourite but another one i like is. "Would you rather be a widow or a divorcee." Anyways those are my favourite things I look for in music.

My favorite bands are probably All That Remains, As I Lay Dying, Remembering Never, Trivium, and a bunch more. It's hard to think of a favorite lyric because all these bands scream and growl and it's really tough to understand some of the lyrics. I look for musicianship in music. A lot of people ask me "How can you listen to this screaming music." It's not about the singing to me, it's about the guitar work, the drums, and everything else that makes the song.

My favorite artists are Chris Brown, Cassie, JoJo, and Ciara. I look for music that's fresh, clever, popular, stylish, and technically skilled. I like r&b and pop e.g. each sound may be brief and precise sounding, the inspiration may be fresh, and the sound may be clever, usually using flashy or interesting electronic or synthesized rhythms or sounds, hooks, may have a jangly percussive rhythm, or jazz harmony singing. Using the minor key...
