Let's check about your need to see which one is satisfied. Play games? Just office work? Using outdoor? Unless you want to buy a pretty small stuff, Laptop is always better than netbook. Otherwise, think about your budget and find the best laptop that you can afford. These are the bad things, if you can't accept it, Don't buy it. Netbook: 1)small size of monitor 2)efficiency(slow, mostly cannot play games, etc.) 3)hard to type Laptop: 1)heavier(not easy to carry out as netbook) 2)more expensive, especially you want a good one

I must tell you it all depends on what you want to do I in general. I have been building, repairing and selling computers for years and I must tell you that if you are using the computer for net purposes only then get a net book but if you want to do something else or more things with the computer then my best advise to you is to get a laptop you would not regret it at all. Aslo depends on what amount of money you are willing to spend you can ger a very good laptop. Make sure yu buy a laptop with intel processor dual core or better and very good memory like 2GB or better. Depends on what amount of wrk you are going to do on your laptop you would need a harddrive with good enough space about from 180Gb up. You can get very good laptops to buy from: www.hp.com www.tigerdirect.com www.newegg.com www.jr.com www.buy.com Trust me you will be happy when you do that.

Hi Busky, I was looking at these options earlier. It really depends on what your needs are. According to the vendors, the netbook is for light usage - at one time, you can open up to only 3 windows. And if you are doing a lot of cross-referencing and multi-tasking, then the netbook is not recommended. You should talk to the vendors - they would be able to advise you better.

Laptops are still better than those smaller ones. Of course, you'll be having some trouble in typing and inputting letters. Also, I'm pretty sure that those smaller types have slower performance.

If you can afford a laptop, then I would definitely say go for it. Netbooks may be a lot cheaper but laptops are really more convenient cause you can basically do everything you want. Most, if not all, netbooks do not have DVD drive and have limited storage. I own a laptop and am very much happy with it. I ave been convincing my sister to buy another laptop instead of just a netbook but she argues that netbooks are much more convenient to bring anywhere which I disagree. The extra bulk you gain from laptops is fine because you are getting the extra functions..

Hey, It all depends, a netbook is for portability while a Laptop is for portability, but also for higher end functionality such as also playing intensive games, and watching HD movies too. Hope this has helped you, make sure you have a good day, Happy Lotting!!
