Recently I was searching for open source softwares and found that there are lots of open sources and freeware softwares.. I was using pirated ones before.. now I prefer freeware or open source more. as each year you need not have to bother about serials, keygens, viruses, etc.
What about you? you like pirated one or freeware?

I'm personally a fan of freewares and open source apps, but it depends a lot on the needs. Well if there's no good freeware available I have no choice but to go with pirated softwares. And yes, most of them are stuffed with adwares/spywares/trojans and malicious code which is a big concern. So long live freewares!

Most of the freeware software are bundles with some spy ware programs and they really hurt our system.Though I know well about this fact, due to the high cost of the original version, I am not able to buy them. On the other hand, the pirated software may or may not contain such threats and depends on the source. Any way , both are dangerous to our system and unsafe to our data and in near future i will try get the genuine OS at least and with the pirated copy of OS, I am suffering a lot. I am not able to update and not able to get any support.

I will use whatever version is best suited for my needs. It doesn't matter if it's freeware or a pirate copy but I would prefer freeware, I think most people would. According to all the pirate software available to us it seems that is what people want and use. There have been companies that have been caught using pirated software and they get nailed the hardest in court.

I would really go with freeware as it supports the freelance programmers. Piracy is tantamount to stealing and your hardware might be confiscated due to that. It is better to have license for everything or better yet, get a freeware version.
