it all depends on what you want to do on a pc, if all your doing is surfing and low end computing then you just need a basic pc. If you are doing high end computing gaming or watching tv etc etc then you need to pay a bit extra. Or why dont you have a go at building your own, it really isnt that difficult and you can build it to an exact specification that you need.

First of all it all depends on what you want to do with the computer system. There are many different purposes and the systems are different in some parts depending on the purpose. If you are buying a complete system you do not at all in no way what so ever want to buy dell. I would give you a very good advise you can buy HP which I have total confidence in or Acer which is also very good. Also make sure you buy a computer system with intel processor let it be dual core or quard core and it should also be pentium. You can get very good computers from: www.hp.com www.newegg.com www.tigerdirect.com So happy shopping.

best computer? it kinda all depends on what you need it for. do you need it for photo editing? video editing? gaming? web surfing? all different kinds of needs has its requirements. if you want the best bang for your buck, you really have to do research and build it yourself. it is not very difficult really, but just make sure you are not getting the wrong parts. Parts you need: CPU (central processing unit) (expect to pay almost $100-200) CPU fan (if not included with CPU or motherboard) (pay around $20-$40) Motherboard (pay around $100-150) Video Card (pay about $125-175) RAM (random access memory) (pay about $50-100) Hard Drive (pay about $100 will get you 1TB or 1,000GB) CD/DVD drive (you can take it from your old computer if it isnt too old) Computer Case (pay no more than $50) PSU (power supply unit) (buy it if it isnt included with your case) (you can use an older case as well) (pay $20ish) best place to get all that is www.newegg.com for gamers, you really need a strong graphics card, looking towards the higher end models. for video editors, youll need large hard drive space and lots of RAM. all in all, if you rather just buy it whole, dont get it from dell. their service is horrible and generally overprice their products. dont go for MACs if you want to save money, because Apple has a monopoly over their products and charges twice the money. expect to pay $2000 with apple. nonetheless apple has excellent computers. acer is pretty good. so i would go with acer. products are sturdy and reliable from my experience

i depends for what purpose u want....in my opinion u must get a quad core processor and get a good motherboard....bcoz these two things are more costlier and u wont be needing it to replace these for 4 years atleast....rest of the things like RAM, hard disk, graphic card u can upgrade them slowly later on...

It all depends on the purpose for which you want to buy the computer. I suggest you to go with DELL computers because they are worth for money. If you want to play high graphics games you can certainly go for a higher video card.

I got a load Compaq Pressario laptop last year for about $900, and I love it. There was some software that wasn't included like MS Word, and stuff, but it came loaded with Vista, and a hard drive that is twice the size of my old one. I love my Compaq laptop, and will never own anything else.

I am sorry you don't like Best Buy. The laptop I am typing ths on was purchased at Best Buy. I like Best Buy as I think they have very nice computers. I couldn't tell you which kind is the best, as all computers are diffeent, and I suppose it all depends on what you want to do with it. Mine is a gateway, and probably has more on it than I would need, but I really do like it as it serves the purpose ofr what I am using it for. If you play a lot of games, then go for a gameing system, however they are expensive and it all depneds on what you are willing to spend on one as well. Mine was $550, and for a laptop that is prretty reasonable. I really don't know all that much about computers as I am a grandmother, but what I do know is that some are better than ohters. You just have to waigh out your options. Have a great day, and happy mylotting.
