I don't have any evidence to back this up, I'm just kinda playin devils advocate, but my theory is that there were books about Jesus as a child, but the early church leaders saw them as irrelevant to the message of the Bible, and so they discarded the books and they didn't make the final cut on what is in the Bible as we know it. There were some books that this happened to, and so it wouldn't surprise me if some of these books were about Christ as a kid.

The gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, which are the first four books of the New Testament, tell us everything we can know about Jesus's life. People can talk about the culture and what life was like back then, but all we really know about Jesus's childhood, and it's not much, is in those books. Anything other than that is just made up.

Hi! I don't have the idea of why pastor's are not talking about the childhood life of Jesus. Maybe, it is in his list of sermons. Don't worry, try to search it in this link : http://leanmarie.blogspot.com . Learn more about HIM. Hope it helps. God bless you! :)

I think many pastor dont talk about Jesus as a child because they want to focus on some of the greater miricles that he did as an adult. I do think its important for them to teach on the childhood Jesus so people can see that he was diffrent as a child too, one of the stories my pastor preached on was when Jesus was juat a young boy and already was preaching to people.
