Nowdays, with speeding up of life pace and improvement of living standard, people become more and more un-healthy. More and more people got hypertension, hyperlipidemia, obsity, diabetus and so on. So doing more exercise become more and more important to be more healthy. Being aware of this, i play lots of sports to exercise myself and make me healthy? In my opinion, we should do exercise at least four hours every week and insist on doing that. Just one or two month, you will feel the improvement on your body. Do you aware of this? Do you exercise at least four hours every week? If not, let's start!

Hi sutent, nice name.
Really working on our health by excercising or by other way in the hactic schedule of todays world is a really tough job. But really needed to take you away from grave.
A report shows that average american spends more than 4 hours watching television each day.Per week it goes off too more than 30 hours. In that time about 4 and half hour have gone in watching adds. I am saying to leave tv watching. Go for some excersives during this add times. And spend some other time too about 10 min more daily for excercise you can see results with in a week or two.
Happy mylotting.

Hi friend,
Thanks for your response and appreciation on my name!
You are right. in nowdays, people spend more time on watching TV and sitting behind computer and less time on doing exercise. That is really not good for us. It is imminent to spend some time on doing exercise to make us healthy and avoid those diseases. Just do it, then you can find the benefits in only one or two week.
Happy mylotting!

I don't pay enough attention to this topic. I do ride a bike or walk sometimes, but lately I have been spending a lot of time indoors because of having massive amounts of homework. I don't think I do get four hours a week, but I might. It depends on how often I have to walk or ride somewhere. I don't like to play sports and because of my age, it is not easy to get into it as when I was younger. I just hope that I am able to stay healthy enough to make it to retirement age. I know when I go for rides, it is so hard because I live at the bottom of a hill and by the time I get to the top, I am so out of breath that it is hard to go on. Thanks for bringing up this topic.

Hi,
Maybe four hours exercise every week is hard for you. You can change it per your favorite. What i mean is doing some exercise to make us more healthy, no strict limitation. You can choose your exercise types, intensity and frequency. Find your favorite and keep it.
Happy mylotting!

Recently I have been trying to focus on my health again. I am actually going to school for health and I learn about this stuff everyday, but I don't exercise or eat like I should. I do know the risks that is why I am trying to be more cognizant of what I do in order to make sure I stay on the right track. People in the nation die everyday from preventable and chronic diseases such as cardiovascualar diseases, diabetes, etc. This is all caused by our lifestyle. Back in the day, it used to be diseases such as pneumonia that killed individuals but not anymore. Unfortunately we are becoming more lethargic by not exercising. There are a lot of factors for this such as the advancement of technology, Socio economic status (SES) and the neighborhoods you live in. Some kids today aren't as active. They stay inside the house and play video games, watch tv, or play on the computer. SES comes into play because some people don't have the money to buy healthy foods which are usually more expensive. Therefore, they buy cheaper foods which are usually higher in fat. If we are constantly on the go, then it will also affect your eating habits because you may not have time to cook a healthy meal. Neighborhoods may come into play because it may not be safe to walk around in your neighborhood to try to exercise or even to exercise at a city park may be hazardous. It just all depends on the individual. We can still try to make little changes that will help us in the long run and make us more healthier. We must keep these factors in mind that we can tell people to be more healthy buy exercising and eating right, but it may not be easy for them as it is for you. Hopefully these things can change and we all can be more conscious of our health.

Hi friend,
Thanks for your response. You are very care about people's health. Doing exercise is undoubtedly a good way to keep us healthy. But just like you said, changing people's habits is not easy for us. However, if some of us keep advocating that, things can change in someday. Let's keep persuading people to do more exercise.
Happpy a good time on your daily life!

Hi,
It is also considered as a exercise playing with your kid for two or three hours. It may be more interesting and happy than just exercise. You can insist on doing that more easily. So keep playing with your kid every day for your health and your kid growth.

When I was younger and I lived in Massachusetts, I used to play outside almost every day all day from late spring to early fall. Since I've moved to Florida, however, and the weather in the summer can become too unbearable, I have declined in my physical activity.
About a month ago, however, I was diagnosed with mild scoliosis, and I had to go to physical therapy, which was costing about $10 a month. After my mom joined a gym for that price, she decided that she would rather take me to the gym four times a week than send me to physical therapy, since what I was doing at therapy I could easily do at the gym as well.
Now, I exercise for an hour and a half four times a week, for a total of six hours of exercise every week. The rest of the time, though, usually involves me sitting on my rudder. XD

hi sutent:)
Four hours of exercise a day is way too much. You might lose the weight, but you're probably going to lose your joints, your tendons, your ligaments, and probably your mind. Better to cut back on your calorie intake and limit your exercise to an hour a day. You'll keep it up longer, and it's kinder on your body. If you injure yourself, you're not going to be doing anything.
Now, if you're talking four hours total in a week, that's a good start.!!Happy mylotting

Hi Anandhh,
I means four hours exercise every week not every day. Four hour exercise every day is requirement of a athlete not us. If four hours every week is too much for you, you can change the frequency per your favourite. Wish you can enjoy doing exericise.
Happy a good day!

I do excersize 4+ hours a week. I try to fit it in as much as I can some weeks are better than others. Sometime I cant get the full 4 hours in. But I do my hardest I tend to feel better when I excersize not just my health but how I feel about myself I feel more confident and it gives me the boost I need to keep going. I excersize every other day some days for an hour other days an hour and 30 mins.

Hi friend,
I will do exercise daily for 2 hours at morning. After that i do my routine work.It is always good to do exercise at mornings which helps your body to be active throughout the day.If i leave for one day without doing exercise than i feel drowsy and be inactive throughout the day.In order to overcome that i will keep myself engaged in doing exercise for 2 hours every day.I hope it is must for all the people who sit in front of computer throughout the day.It helps them to be active and happy throughout the day.
Have a nice day

Hi my friend!
You do have a good habits, so just keep doing that. I have the same experience that when i stop playing sports or doing exercise more than one week, then i feel uncomfortable throughout the next several days. Let's encourage each other to keep doing exercise and enjoy it.
Happy mylotting!

Hi,
That is very intersting. Chasing your son is a good exercise to you, at least i think so. That's not only a hard exercise, but also a boring and angry thing as well as a very meaningful thing, as child-rearing is always bittersweet. Take care of your child and have a good time on mylot.

Thanks a lot for posting this topic. I just realized that I don't exercise at all! I am sitting in front of my computer all day and I have gained some weight over the past few weeks as a result. If I go on at this rate,it will really have disastrous results for me. I agree that four hours of exercise per week is a must. All o us must be aware of this for our own benefit. Staying healthy is very important and exercising is the best way to keep fit. I will start right away! :-)

yes! i exercise like 1-2 hours a day. it's not everyday though. i do it like only 3-4 times a week. i usually go biking early in the morning. i usually start around 5:30AM and get home around 7 in the morning. i love biking. not only do i get to have a daily exercise but it's more of a hobby too. i usually bike around 5-10 kilometers. it's really good source of exercise and it doesn't cause a lot of weight on your knees. running can be so hard on the knees. it's a hobby that i think i really enjoy.
