Has anyone seen the remake of Friday the 13? I have seen the original Friday the 13 and it has always been one of my favorite horror flicks. The rest of the movies were awful and I never could understand why they made so many. The originals have always been the best for me and I hve never found a remake I really liked until now. I thought it was as true to the original as it could be without adding stuff that didnt make any since. I watched it last night and I really liked it. I know horror flicks isnt everyones favorite type of film but I was wondering how many have seen the original Friday the 13 and its remake and what you thought of the movies; good or bad.

I have to say, when i heard that they had made a remake of it i thought it would suck but still i wanted to see it cause i liked the first one. I have to say the remake was pretty good but they did screw the end but i'm used of that in horror movies, they always let them come back to life Lol.

I haven't seen the remake, but I have heard mixed reviews. I have a friend who is obsessed with the series and was worried she would be disappointed by the remake, but it turns out that she actually liked it. Then again, I've heard other people say it's terrible. I'm not sure if I want to see it, as I'm not a huge fan of the franchise. I love horror movies, but this one never really stuck with me. I have seen the original Friday the 13th and some of the sequels.

I also heard about the mixed reviews as well but decided to see it anyway. I try not to listen to the reviews to much because when a movie gets a bad review I always end up loving it. If the trailer for ot intrests me then I watch the movie. I go by the trailers instead of the critics reviews. Thanks for your comment.

I was never really a fan of the Friday the 13th movies but Jason is a great horror icon and I have seen them all. I agree there have been some terrible entries in the series but the some of the later ones with Kane Hodder playing Jason were not bad, he really gave the role of Jason his all. The remake was not that bad as remakes go.

I have seen both original and the newest remake of Friday the 13th. The original I would have loved to have better effects, but that comes with the year it was made. The effects in the newest one I loved, Not a family movie

You are so right. The effcts in the first one werent the best but it was still a good movie. But I loved the effests in this movie. They were really good. Its definitly not a family movie but its one of those movies I love watching on Halloween and eating a huge tub of popcorn. I am the horror fan in my family so i watch them by myself. Jason and Freddy Krueger are my two favorie horror franchises. Thanks for your comment.
