Original italian recipes.

Italy

Hello my mylotter friends. I'm from Italy, and often I saw recipes sites with several "horror" recipes that are quite an offense to the italian cooking art. So I decided to start a site where you can find only ORIGINAL Italian recipes. The true ones, the ones we eat everyday here in Italy. The site is pretty new and, obviously, there are only few recipes. But I'm upgrading it every week, so you will find lot of recipes there in a while. Wish you will like to visit it, and give me your feedback about the site, and the recipes (if the recipes are easy to understand, clear, and so on). Thanks for your help, and wish you will like the site. the site url is www.mommarecipes.info

Hello friend. I've read about the iussues you got with the hosting. But the site is accessible now, so I guess you already solved the problem. About your site, I guess it look quite nice. Simple, easy to understand, and the recipes sounds like truly Italian recipes. If I can say, there are just few recipes, you need to do a big job to enanche your site. If you don't add more and more recipe the site will be a nice but pretty useless site. I know you're in the beginning, but is now you should do max efforts to let your site start in the right way. Wish to see more recipes soon. Anyway, my compliments for your job.

Hello friend. Thanks for the compliments. Seems the free hosting I've found now is good enough. Quite fast and surely reliable. About the recipes, you're right, they are few now. I'm doing the site in my spare time, and take lot of time write down a good recipe in a way that should be easy to understand. I always submit my recipes to some friends before I publish, just to be quite sure what people understand is exactly what I wanted mean ;) Anyway, I will add some new recipes in the next days. Stay tuned ;) See you.

Hello friend. Thanks for your answer. I will add a section related to the most used ingredients and their translation in other languages. The names you could have some difficult to understand are the names of typical Italian products, that should be called in the same way all over the world because of their Registered names. Anyway here you have a little help: Parmigiano Reggiano = original Italian parmesan cheese Grana Padano = an Italian cheese really similar to Parmigiano Reggiano guanciale, = pork cheek, you can substitute it with an un-smoked bacon pancetta = very similar to un-smoked bacon About the pasta names (spaghetti, vermicelli, rigatoni, mezze maniche, are all different shapes of pasta) if you buy any original Italian pasta brand, then they use the same Italian name for the same shape ;)

Hello. Your site is empty right now, so I guess the dns are already switched pointing the new host. I've heard lot of people complaining about 000webhost, so I'm registering right now there, just to understand if this host is really so bad ;) I will check it later, after you uploaded the site to the new host. Wish it will be a nice site where find the original recipes and not the "horrors" you said you saw (I've seen too a lot of them on the net!)

Hi, the link you gave here does not work. It would be great to have some original Italian recipes. I love Italian food and sometimes we visit restaurants that say they do Italian food but they are not exactly like that except when the Chef is Italian. Can you give us the correct link to your site? thanks

Sorry friend. The link is ok, the problem is the host. Sometimes the site is down, due some host trouble (it's hosted with 00webhost right now, I'm looking for a better hosting). I've tried right now and seems to be ok right now. Have patience, and sorry again.

The site was down again! I've changed the host service. Due the DNS propagation time, the site will be available in 48 hours, I wish. Sorry for the inconvenience, wish you will like to visit it later ;)

I think it's best if you find a good host. You can check the host of my blog, though I don;t update anymore it is very good and it's more like a website where you can create different sections and with great designs.
