how do you react when someone compliment you?

I will be happy to recieve a compliment from anybody. I will say 'Thank you' in return. There are some people who compliment you just for the sake of complementing. I hate them. I mean the type of people who just compliment you when you wear a new dress to office even though they don't like the dress. I can never do that.

If i got someone's compliments,I will thanks,I think it's real compliment for me.No matter,other people's think.

I smile and say " Thank you". They maybe trying to get something out of me but I never so anything I don't want to do. But most of the time it is a friend or a co worker and they are sincere. I compliment people too and I hope they think I am sincere, because I am.

I feel good I feel I have given some one something very special a part of my self that makes others happy.

Hello ralphbruce25 this is checkmail and do react on certain compliments.Usually after receiving good compliments from others, joy has no limits for me, am too happy for it.But when there is an abusive compliemnt on me then my anger has no limits to it.I just become so much angry that I start with straight talk with that person.Means clean and clear conversation.even have exchange of some words with that person.But if received a nice compliment return it with a nice one from me too.

hello...when anyone compliments me though they were genuine or not i thank them as a part of courtesy ...i feel sometimes that they are genuine and sometimes i get blushed but check that out that i should not blush before them because it will make me embarassed and i can't face them anymore..i just control my feelings when anyone compliments me and later feels very happy regarding that

When someone gives me acompliments I always feel elated and really happy and the the first thing I do is say thank you and I give that person a compliment back. Not that I feel obligated to compliment the other person but I guess it is in my nature to give compliments as well. It is always great to receive compliments and it will be a greater feeling to give compliments back.:)

i wouldn't say thanks,as usually i would keep silence and give a smile to them.because i have no idea whether people are sincere or not,sometimes they are just stand on ceremony,so i think it is polite to them with a smile without word.

When ever someone compliment you, you have to thank them. What ever may be the reason behind it. meapas.

I usually thank them and just feel flattered inside.

hi ralphbruce25:) Well!! I don't get a lot of compliments because I have a LOT of friends and I go to each one and I give them a hug or they come give me a hug. It doesn't matter to any of us if it's a guy or a girl. We just show our love thru our hugs. We're like a big family and we love each other. happy mylotting:)

If I get encouraging compliment then I start to behave like that. If I get compliment on my appearence I say thank you. If I get bad compliment, then I stopped listening and giving responce, jus I leave that place.

If someone compliments me, I just smile and say 'Thank you' if necessary. If not i just smile. That is the thing i'll be doing irrespective of the situation and position I am In since I cannot differentiate which is a sincere compliment and which one is fake. I never get embarrassed when people compliment me even at the case if I could sense that it was not a genuine one.

there are people that just likes to flatter other people to get something from them, and there are others that are really sincere when they give compliments. whichever of the two is given to me i always smile and say something nice and thank them.. sometimes it depends on the compliment if i blush or not... lol you will know the one that likes to flatter and not really sincere with the compliments because after wards they will ask something from you, a favor or whatever that would benefit them, even small things.

Last time, I dont take compliments gracefully. Now, I've mastered the art of taking compliments. All you need to do is smile and say thank you. Never say, "Oh really?" Or, "No, you are just kidding" It will only make a mockery of the compliment and the person giving them to you. Even if someone is complimenting me not so sincerely, I'll just smile and say thank you and gracefully excuse myself.

i smile wid my mouth open wide...nowdays people r not dat good as they used 2 be before... sometimes their compliment is actually a taunt which might upset us. but every1 of us shud accept it as compliment and even if v lack dat quality, v shud try 2 acquire it. accept dat happily.

I just hear them. when it's right, I'll keep silent. But when it's wrong, I'll speak after they've done their part. :)
