The old generation of music and that of the present which do you prefer

My parent love the old skool musicals alot because they say it inspires them.But to me,i love the present day music cos the beat always get me rocking.So which do you prefer?

I always hear old songs every Sunday but I've grown up listening to modern songs.There are some old songs that I do like, just like the songs of the Bee Gees. But music in general, I would prefer the new generation of music 'cause I can relate to it more and it suits our time.
