does anyone think that maybe there was 2 shots fired at the same time so all that was heard was the one that it looks like kendall shot stuart? then maybe the person who killed the inventor of the heart valve real did kill stuart not knowing that it was not adam which means he could have done the killing for someone else.

Maybe Emma pulled the trigger???? I mean why else would they have her suddenly come out and accuse someone else, i.e. Kendall.

No I don't think so. Did the inventor die that same night? I can't remember. If so, maybe he shot Stuart, thinking it was Adam, and then went home and hung himself.
