All right, so this may not fit with the tradition "make extra money" theme. But instead of telling you about a site, or asking what is legitimate or bragging about the fact that I reached my MyLot payout. I am going to instead talk to you about some simple, though not necessarily easy things you can do to improve your life and "get rich slow!"
I do not believe in something for nothing, and there is no get rich quick. But I do believe that if you provide a valuable service, and work hard at saving you can earn more then enough money to get by in life.
The first thing I would say that is necessary is having a definite purpose. Choose what it is you want to do, and why. Write this down, read it each day. Make sure it is something that you really WANT to do, not something to want to have, or think needs to be done. And Write it down, sign the paper, and read it aloud each day in the morning and before bed.
Second, write out the plan for achieving your purpose. And read it each day, as diligently as your read your purpose, this way you program your mind to be working on this always, even when you are sleeping or hanging out with friends or whatever.
The third is to have faith in your self and love yourself. Take care of yourself, you will achieve very little if you are always grumpy, or sad and you do not believe in yourself. Work at being a happier more enjoyable person. And remember in the end, so long as you are truly happy, the only person who's opinion matters is your own, unless you are violating the rights of others which I strongly recommend you DO NOT DO that is bad.
Tell yourself each day this is my purpose, this is how I will achieve it, I am a good person, I am a happy person, I am a beautiful person, I am honest, I am polite, I respect myself and others, I am grateful. And whatever else you want to be that is good. When ever you are bored, or commuting, or have an empty time that you can devote to positive thinking think these positive thoughts.
It is believed by many Pshycologists, at least I have heard it from many sources that your mind can NOT focus on more then one thing at a time. So, always focus on the positive, if it raining think, that is good it will make the harvest bigger. Always look on the bright side of every situation you encounter. Make friends with as many people as possible. The more people that know, like and trust you, the more opportunities that come your way. If you feel yourself becoming very grumpy, take a second and force a smile on your face, and think of good things in your life and very soon you will not be grumpy. Practice this daily or more often. In a while you will notice vast improvements in every aspect of your life.
What do you think of the preceding advice, is it a waste of time and energy or does it have great potential?

Hahahaha.... that is perfect putting this under the 'make more money' heading, because for sure money is one of the things you get more of when you have a good attitude!
I was listening to a Paul McKenna CD and he was relating a story about an interview with a client where he asked the client what he wanted and the client answered "money!". Paul McKenna then asked him why he wanted money... what would having money give him. The guy thought about it for a few minutes and said 'security'.
That stuck in my mind and the more I thought about it the more I concluded that a sense of security and well-being would feel wonderful! So every night when I went to bed I laid there imagining what it would feel like to have that sense of security and well-being. I was only doing it because it felt soooo good.
After 3 nights of doing this, on the morning of the 4th day someone came knocking on my door and the result was one of the best work at home jobs I have ever had! I didn't have to do anything... I didn't even answer my door! (I was in bed recovering from a mild hangover, hehehe.)
As it turns out it was opportunity knocking, and when I didn't open the door she left a note basically saying 'Go ahead and get your rest and when you are ready this is where you can find me.' Granted, I did have to walk up to the corner store when I got up, and then make a phone call, but there was no effort in that!

yes I too believe on this things have read lots of books regarding this things
and yes they work if you are willing to let them in but if one is not willing no matter how hard they try but there inner self would say they are not willing still nothing good will happened. Taking out the negativity of oneself is a hard task but a positive thinker would say I can do this and will do it .... positive thinker always motivates oneself to do things and think positively for with this thinking positive thing will follow as well..... thats cool dude that you tried to remind me of this need this now a days been down lately and need some boosting up.

It is good to be reminded of this from time to time.
All the great things in life start with A positive mental attitude
Think about it, when you go the amusement park with your friends, the person that is the most pumped up, and excited to be there is the one who has the most fun. The one that is unsure and worried, is the one getting sick after the rides.
All of the great things in life start with a Positive Mental Attitude. I encourage everyone to take the time to learn how to develop one for their own personal benefit, and to help benefit everyone they know. Cheers.

CJ, that's great advice. I wish more people thought as you do.
I read many posts here on myLot about getting rich quick and how to make a bundle in a short period of time. Maybe some of them work, but I believe in providing a valuable service and taking it one day at a time.
Looking at the silver lining in any given situation is much better than focusing on the negative. Thanks for the much needed reminder.

I can hardly add anything to that, you got the idea down pat. Check out http://30daycleanse.com. You really might like that, and if you don't there is a 100% money back guarantee...but since they don't ask for any money....

I believe in positive thinking too and it has helped me a great deal in my life. It is not a pill which one just has to take, it is an entire attitude and perspective of life. Good and bad things happen, the only thing that matters is to keep a balanced mind about them.

I wish I was better at remembering who said what. I think it was John Maxwell or Zig Ziglar, though "It is not what life throws at me, it is how I deal with what life throws at me." Or something very similar. And you are right, it is an entire attitude shift, but it is more, it is a Character shift, and the more people we can enlighten through positive encouragement, and if we lead by example...Soon the whole world can see things from this perspective, something akin to "Pay it Forward" Let's you and I, and everyone else that reads, agrees, and lives this lead this crusade to make this world the best that it can be. I appreciate you, Cheers.

Your discussion was superb ,fantastic and I cant think of any adjective that will bring out its value.May be because I am in the mid fifty I think so .But it is wonderful to foolow what you say .It is not very hard to follow also.It is true that any thing that crops up we tend to think of the problems we have to face or we just take it in the optimistic way. After reading your dicussion I have made up my mind to try to respect ,love ,smile ,make friends and follow the 3 steps you have mentioned.I am cent percent certain that it is not a waste of time and it does have a great potential.I will pass this to my son and daughter also.
