The new Harry Potter movie is finally in theaters! Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.
I want to go see it so bad and hope it will be in our local drive-in, since I can't stomache regular movie theaters lol.
I been looking forward to this movie all year and it seems the Harry Potter movies always come out around my birthday. So maybe hubby will take me to the movies for my birthday lol.
Most people that know me, know that I am a huge Harry Potter fan! I read all the books and own all the movies and seen them a million times lol.
Has anybody seen the new movie? If you have can you give me your opinion about it?

I hope you get to go and that I can hide in the trunk! My hubs is away working and this will be the first HP movie I've missed seeing at the theatre! I am NOT a happy camper! I'd go alone, but the hubs won't let me drive into the city by myself (yes, I'm only 12!), and none of the townsfolk even know who HP is! I GOTTA move outta this one horse town! LOL

LOL
There are people who don't know who HP is?? Damn, they are missing out big time!
Sure you can hide in the trunk! We got a stationwagon, so we'll just throw a blankie over you.
I can't blame your hubbie for not letting you drive into the city, people drive like maniacs in cities!

I took my daughter to see it yesterday after rereading the book last week. I was really REALLY disappointed. No, I take that back...I was really REALLY P!$$ED!
I'm not one of those people who believe a movie need to follow a book 110% but I sat for 2 and a half hours and only about 2% of the movie follows the book. Don't expect to see over half the characters that were in the book on the screen, they won't be there.
It's playing at our local drive in with Terminator this weekend, now I'm wishing we would have gone to that instead. At least the seats in the van recline so I could have slept comfortably.

I didn't get to see it yet, they were forecasting rain so we didn;t dare to go, but I will hopefuly be able to go this weekend. I read the book and I will probably be disappointed too then, but I have heard it's suppose to be the best HP movie yet.
As the movies progressed, they were following the books less and less and since all the little characters and details play over into the next book and they all left them out in the previous movies, they are now trying to do damage control.
I still can't wait to see it though and I'll let you know what I think.
