How many of you had to make a sacrifice? What was it about and how did you feel after you made that? I think we must all make some in our life, some more than others. And i want to know about the outcomes of scarifies some of us have made. Good or bad. So, story time!(:

In 31 years of marriage there has been so much sacrifice that it is uncountable by myself and my husband. When children come along again there is sacrifice. When I was about ten we moved to a farm and had to help with the crops to pay for our bills. I had no brothers. We learned that summer was not a time of play but a time of work. My parent bought us one nice outfit a year, a coat, shoes, boots...the rest we paid for out of what we made on the farm. That is when I learned to sew and shop for good fabric at sale prices. Taking care of my parents when they became old and ill was also a sacrifice. Making peace with my sisters over our inheritance another sacrifice. All of these things made me who I am today and I do not regret a bit of it. I found that when I focused on the job at hand and not on the sacrifice, there was great joy that filled my life and still does.

Well i am glad you made life work, i am also sorry you had to get through your childhood harder than most can understand. It is good to learn work early but also have fun while doing it. I am happy for you for being so successful even when you have had to make sacrifices in life. Even the hard ones. Good job on everything, and good luck in the future. Thanks for sharing as well.(:

The work as a child gave us no illusions about life and that someone owed us something. Me and my sisters gained much strength from working even at a young age. We learned how to budget, work hard, and whistle while we worked. We spend time when we get together exchanging stories of those days with much fondness as the years go by.

That is good things to learn ahead of time. And good you and your sisters share memories of it, it is healthy, the good and the bad ones. If only i learned those types of stuff, i am still in my goof around instead of live stage. Ha ha.

To be honest,i don't want to make a sacrifice that is so serious! First, we sacrifice, then we get hurt. haha
We try to make the best of both world. Sometimes, you Can't have your Cake, and eat it ...
What if we find ways to make more cakes! Sacrifice will only be made as a last resort! Not until it is by absolute necessity, you'd better not make it!
Take care!
