In your own words, how do you define a "lover"?

Hi guys!
In your own definition, what is a "lover"? Any definition will do.
I asked this to my friend, and she answered, "A lover is the one who will spend money on you." I laughed out loud after hearing this...But if you come to think of it, there is a truth in her definition.
For you, what is a "lover"?

A lover is someone who you care for more than family, more than friends. Someone who is there for you and you are there for them as much as you both can be. You can not live without that person because they mean the world to you. They get what you say, they take you for who you are, and they accept everything you offer them. They make you smile, laugh, and feel happy. They literally have the other piece of your heart and they were born with it just like you were born with theirs. If you find true happiness with one person, do not let them go, you are lucky to have found them and you life would not be the same without them.

Well the word lover can be looked at in many different ways.
I think a lover is someone who you love unconditionally and makes you feel the same. I think a lover is someone that no matter what words you look for to describe them, you'd still fall short. I mean, that's just me though.

My definition of Lover would be the person whom I am in love with, share a home with, share everything where there are no secrets. Someone who will stand beside me through good times and bad. See me at my worst moments and try to make them better. Someone who shares common interests where we can do things together and yet still have our own time apart. Someone who cares enough to worry if I'm gone to long or if I'm having a bad day. Someone who knows when to say "I love you" instead of saying it all the time.

Actually I found that person 2 years 3 months and a few weeks ago on March 27th. He has definitely showed me what "real" love is. Believe me, he is on a pedi-stool in my life. I would be lost if it had not been for me.

A lover of course is a person who is ready to love, to sacrifice, to be patient and ready to fight his/her love to the one he/she loves...
