Have you ever dreamed about your pet while actually he is dying at that time?

I've ever dreamed once, playing happily with my cat in the garden. It seems weird at that time, because I was studying abroad and left my 12 years old cat at home. But after I woke up in the morning, I received message telling that my lovely cat has just died few hours ago...I ended up crying and still couldn't believe it. We already tied together for 12 years, so I just felt like I've just lost part of my family... Have you ever experienced the same thing??
