Kids: how hard is it to raise them?

I been thinking lately about how I would be as a father. I'm 21 and I'm not even thinking about having kids at this point in time in my life. Yet, I still have the picture of me raise my lil' girl or son and them being very successful in life. Nothing is planned in life, so for me to imagine how my future kids will live there lives is very far fetched. I was wondering, to all the parents here on mylot, what's life like raising a little one and making sure they know the way of life? Making sure they know they do's and don'ts, the wrongs and rights! What's the best and worst part of raising a child?
