To some it may seem put up or artificial. But if you start to look out for hapiness, it can be found in such small things as I am about to mention.
I am a photographer in my own right. Won many a prizes at my university well over three decades ago when having an SLR camera was the talk of the Hostel.
Then I had my Nikon FT-2, and would keep picturing tiny grass flowers or flowers jutting out of stems of the weeds. Some of them were indeed very pretty and would get them enlarged and framed to hang in my room.
Thereafter, the professional duties made me forget my once most loved hobby. But the fire remained burning somewhere deep within. And then yesterday, I had a professional meeting with a landscape architect, much younger than I am, working on one of our most prestigious projects. Went over to his studio where-in over a cup of tea he just mentioned that he had taken a few photographs of the still incomplete areas to be prepared by him. And amongst those many photographs, my eye stopped at one particular photo which had leaves of weeds from one end to the other end of the frame. I requested him to print it for me, which he, not very happily, did. I also asked him to email that particular photo to me, which also he did. Only as I was leaving, he, matter of factly asked me as to what did I see in that photograph that I took such a fancy for the same.
I briefly told him of my photographic past only to be told by him that he too has been pursuing similar hobby with innocuous and tiny plants which most may not even notice. He perhaps has more photos of such plants than I could imagine.
This incidents brought back my adoloscent memories and now at this age, I wish to pursue once again what I had left well over 30 years ago.
You call it happiness or nostalgia. Or whatever. But it definitely made me feel the bliss of life, which even a rich career may not have done. Especially in those few moments.

Hi San!
Our life is full of ups and down and happy and sad moments keep coming in our lives quite often. When we are feeling sad, we should count our blessings and should cheer ourselves up. Whenever I feel upset, I count my blessings and start feeling happy and simultaneously I thank the great God for granting me such a beautiful life.

Hello my friend sanjana_aslam Ji,
This is called natural balance for everyone. Even days and nights are part and parcel of thios system. If one is under sorrow now, next moment same thong will change into happiness, but one has to have patience. May god bless You and have a graet time.

that's great to have been blessed with happiness in life. people always recieve that happiness but only a few appreciate them. It's good that you are one of the wise people who know how to see the right things, and be grateful for them.
