Well I am a chinese girl, and my mom got breast cancer last year and she has now gone through the chemical and radiation therapy (sorry for the spelling, as long as you understand what I mean). Here are some figures about her clinical Pathology, i guess if you are doctors you'd understand: IHC: ER(***),PR(***),C-erbB-2(-),Ki-67 20% positive, E-CA(+), CK34bE12(+).
My mom is about 43 years old, and a teacher. Her breast cancer is mainly caused by hormones. And the doctors here recommand her to do the operation to cut her ovarian this August. But we want to ask more wonderful doctors around the world for advice. Could you give me some ideas? Does she need to cut the ovarian? Will that do harm to the body? Thank you so much for your help!!

Your mother is ER/PgR positive. She must have been on Tamoxifen tablet.
If she has developed new metastasis this year, removing ovaries will help.
Removing ovaries, per se will not harm her.
All the best. Any further queries, you are free to ask.
