Honestly, I truly prefer bread over rice. Don't get me wrong - I really like rice. But I eat bread every single day. I love bread, sourdough bread, garlic bread, Italian bread, rolls, biscuits, you name it and I love it!
That is probably one of the many reasons why I am so overweight.
Have a great day and happy myLotting!!!

In my country rice is a staple food. I can go without rice in the morning, instead just have bread or fruits. But I can't go without it during lunch or dinner or I might find myself go hungry every now and then.

My favorite meal is pizza, a bread based dish! I'm your total opposite . I have rice from time to time but I have bread or better still pizza at least twice a week.

I would prefer rice than bread. Bread bores me and rice is heavier in the stomach. But I would prefer pasta if compared to the other two. If there's pasta, I won't eat rice or bread.

Haha, I prefer rice as I'm living in Yangtze River Delta, China. Rice is our staple food.
In fact, I never compare other food with it, because it's quite special for me. Food, such as bread, noodles, steamed bun and so on, it can make my food selectable. I can say I like it or hate it these days. I cannot bear to eating them everyday, even at first I really appreciate them, but for long, I cannot imagine it!
But for rice, I cannot say like or hate it, because it's a part of my life. I have it almost everyday, but never consider to give it up.
So I have to I prefer rice! Even it is decided by my life style.

they say it just gets getting used to but i tried bread during meals and i find myself stuffing myself with fattening foods to satiate a craving for something i don't know what. with rice the cravings disappear. i wonder if it is something that rice has or the fact that it is unrefined (i mean unlike bread that goes through a lot of processes) that makes it stomach friendly when it comes to the "fulfillment" department .

I prefer rice. It is more filling, it tastes better in my opinion. Rice can go with a lot of different dishes. Even though bread and rice are similar, as they both are made of wheat, but I just like rice better.

We really have something in common. I really do love eating rice too. I even prefer eating cookies or biscuit rather than eating bread. Rice really makes my meal complete. Without it, I guess I will not be able to feel satisfaction with my meal. Here in the Philippines, rice is a very common food every meal. Though bread and rice are both rich in carbohydrates, the taste of bread is very far different from the taste of rice. It seems like there's something on it that makes Filipino people love it.

Well honestly I like them both and I could stand anyone of them. Whatever the availability, they are both carbohydrates but we are just used to have rice since we are rice-eating people...(if you're an Asian race)...
