This question is as old as life itself. But really, what makes you happy?
I have my goals in life and achieving them will make me happy. But I notice, that the happiness i feel due to my achievements is temporary..so right now I will say that I am still looking for the joy in my life.
Can you share your thoughts on this?

maybe you are looking in the wrong place for the source of your happiness. they say it's the little things that count. and i believe that. i can say that i have found the joy of my life in the person of my daughter. she's only one year old now but she might never know how much she makes me happy, how much life was a LOT better when she came, how just the mere thought of her makes me warm inside. joy coming from material things never last long. true, i want to earn money (LOTS of MONEY, in fact ) but i only like that because i want to leave this world knowing that her needs are taken care of, that she would not have to worry about her finances. i don't know. she's the center of my world right now. i don't know if you already have a child, if you already do, i KNOW that you will get what i'm talking about

From experience, I have been to a life that everybody would've wanted. Enough money to buy things I want without asking my parents (yup, I was too young when I reached this point), enough for me to travel to other countries, met different people form different status in life...name it... But it's only now, that I lost everything, that I realized, I wasn't really that happy all those times.
To answer your question... I guess, I already found one of the joys that money can't buy... my son. I may have lost all the glamour I used to have when I chose to be a single mom, and be jobless... but I never regret it.
