it's camera quality is as good as a digital camera
and since its my phone i take it everywhere and sometimes
dont need to bring along my digicam.

I love using my cell phone's camera, it is great for sending a photo of things you want to buy and want to share at home, and keep photos of your loves, friends and pets in there, I am not so sure it is a must, it one does not have a text plan it can be costly.

I actually have a camera on my phone. It is a video camera and a digital camera as well. I never use it though! I flat forget that it is there. I don't know why, I just never think to use it. I guess that makes it "useless"! :)

You know that a camera phone can be one the most important thing that you carry with you. Let me give some examples why. You just walked out to your car and a lady across the isle just got her purse taken and you seen the guy. Pull out that phone and take a pic. It might help the police get the guy. You have just been in an auto accident. Its the guys fault. Grap that phone and take a pic. Insurance company or the judge in court might like to see that. There is many more. Just think about it.

I prefer cell phones with camera having more mega pixels. But actually i do not have it now, but i wish to get it soon.Camera bundled with cell phone reduces weight of taking camera separately and we can take cell phones anywhere and it is almost with us all the time but taking camera is not possible at all.
Thanks for the discussion!!!

I really like camera phones, as my digital camera is to bulky to take everywhere with me. With a camera phone, just have to whip it out and take a pic, and I can take pictures to put on my phone as wallpaper, and I like that as well. I took a pic of one of my grand son's and I can put his picture on my phone as wallpaper if I choose to. It is just more convenient, as carrying a digital camera around isn't something I would normally do. It just makes sense to take a picture with my camera phone. Have a great day, and happy mylotting.

I'd prefer both, I always bring my digital camera wherever I go. Cell/mobile phone can be handy too but it really depends how good the quality of the phone camera. I'm into quality of the pictures, so I'd prefer camera than mobile/cell phone as I hardly use it for taking pictures only for calls and text.
