For centuries religious leaders of Christendom have said that sinners are bound to a fiery Hell, in which they are inflicted an unbearable eternal suffering. This idea is still common in many religions.
What do you imagine when you hear the world hell?
A real place of fire and brimstone where people suffer eternal torment and anguish?
Or maybe a condition, or state?

From what I've studied, there are different degrees of hell, depending on how evil the person was in life. Just like there will be different degrees of reward in heaven. It depends on the good people have done, only if they've accepted Jesus as their Savior though.

Hell is mentioned in the Bible, and one can imagine or think, or come up with a viewpoint about it - - but according to the Book, it 'is' a reality.
No one is sent to hell by God who loves all mankind. It is we {mankind} who send ourselves, when we reject the truth, and Jesus, who is the way, the truth and the life.
God gets the blame for a lot of things that He is not responsible for.

It might be just the eternal torment and anguish. Since when we die I guess we won't feel a thing anymore, the suffering and bearing the world's pain would be too difficult since it is the only thing that matters at that point in time.
