I love Sonlight. A lot! My kids love it and have achieved success in their SAT and AP exams.
What is everyone else using? Why do you like it? I like Sonlight because it integrates history and English, and because it encourages students to think.

My son and daughter are 6 and 4 and we use Sonlight. It's the first thing I've tried. I like it a lot! Though I did switch in Horizons Phonics and Reading program for my son.

I use k12.com. You can pick and choose the subjects individually to supplement whatever you're doing but that can be expensive. I think in most states, you can sign-up for the whole curriculum and it's totally free. That's what we did. If you enroll as their full time student, they send you everything you need: student texts/guides, workbooks, teacher guides, science kit, art kit, desktop computer & printer (if needed). They also assign you to a teacher that helps you and collects your samples every quarter. Your attendance is logged online. You also have access to online lectures/classes thru Elluminate and foreign languages thru PowerSpeak. You are responsible for internet access and being the learning coach for your child. We have been homeschooling with a local charter for the last few years and this is our first year using K12.com. We're just getting used to it but we're really starting to like it. Check it out if you're interested.
