Some two days ago, I read that Manchester City had concluded arrangement with Arsenal to buy Emmanuel Adebayor. I was shocked today to read another news linking the same Adebayor to Manchester United. What do you know about Emmanuel Adebayor's transfer saga. Do you know why he is leaving or why Arsenal decided not to hold on to him? What impact will the departure of Adebayor have on Arsenal's chance of winning laurels next soccer season? Oh fans of the gunners, please respond!

Adebayor is a good player on his day but he's quite the prima-donna and probably has quite a bad effect on overall team morale. It seems to me that Bendtner is well liked by Arsene Wenger and I have a feeling that he'll be getting a run out this year. Most people seem to expect Arsenal to replace Adebayor but they have a plethora of attacking options and I expect him to stick with the youngsters he has - Vela, Walcott etc.
It's not really surprising that Adebayor would have preferred to join a team with a better chance of winning the title than money-rich Manchester City, it seems that neither United or Chelsea were interested in him though. So he finds himself at Eastlands on a fat pay cheque.

I feel the boys of yesterday have become the men of today. The youngsters: Walcot, Bendtner, Clichy, Sagna, Vela, etc. are up to the task in the absence of Adebayor (and Kolo Toure, who I learnt may equally be moving to Manchester City). Those youngsters just need to play each game as if their entire existence depennds on it. They played well last year but the problems with them was not marking the players of the opposing team closely enough. I got annoyed each time I saw Arsenal players allowing their opponents to play freely. That put Arsenal under avoidable pressure. Moreover, they should perfect their shooting ability and learn to shoot accurately from outside the 18-yard box.

Well bro! I think boss (Wenger) knew what he was doing by letting him go, whether Man City nor Man U I dont think it will make any difference now would it? So as far as Arsenal fan is concerned (myself) I trust boss, and I'm sure he can do better. "NEVER OUT GUNNED"!

I think the boys of yesterday are fast maturing. I hope Theo Walcot, Clichy, Sagna and the rest have learnt a lot from their past successes and failures. I hope they use the departure of another big name from Arsenal as a great opportunity for them to prove that they can do it. Go on boys, we are with you!
