how do i put a picture as my profile pic?

i have a picture, but i don't know how to put it as my profile pic. i already uploaded it. and yes im new-lol

I have the same question but didn't bother to ask through discussion because I'm sure someone already posted the same but I just couldn't find it. It would be great if someone could answer the question as it would help me too. =)
