How do you pay for your gaming subscriptions, and games in general?

Just curious how gamers cover their gaming subscription costs and for games in general? Do you supplement your gaming income with an actual job? Do you do various things online, what do you do to support your gaming hobbies? Need any help?

My husband and I both gamers. I am self-employed in real estate, plus I work seasonally for the IRS and occasionally work at home as a customer service rep for a charity. My husband works 70 hours one week in third shift retail and is off every other week. I do things like this online for a little extra money that I can put directly into a retirement account so I can put the rest of my income in savings and/or toward bills. We also try games out before we ever buy them...it saves us a lot of money in the long run, because we don't buy games we end up not liking just to lose most of its value by taking it to Game Stop. :)

Oh, you could always check out "Goozex". You basically can trade games in for points to get other games. It's a great way to clear out games you might have trouble selling back for much at places like Gamestop. They have or at least, used to have a referral system where if you join under me I get 100 points and you get 100 points(Which is the rough equivalent of like. A $10 game last I checked or you can save up more points as you trade in other games to get a better game as the more points, means you can get a more expensive game.) Of course, I really don't care either way. If you don't feel like it just check out Goozex and add of course, the .com afterwards and check it out. Probably something you two would be interested in.

Skill gaming isn't illegal in most states, in fact only 13 say it is. and mine is not the case. Nor is playing games for free and earning money. But thanks for your concern.

Oh, well. Like I said! I'm not sure which are and which aren't for me which is why I avoid them altogether until I do more research into it!

My gaming costs are taken directly from my husband's bank account. I make it a point to not have 10 accounts at a time anymore. :x
