this I sees beauty and purpose in so many things, so many things dismissed to the untrained I - it is oft said that one man's trash is another's treasure - perspective is what changes from I to I, even within one's own self - glorious it is, so vital to humanity and industry and philosophy, to have the diversity - even better to have tolerence for the other I, the untrained I, so quick to surmise - what the I perceives has more to do with the beholder than anything else - the I will focus on what is familiar, what is expected, before viewing what is evident to the naked I - and the last place the I looks upon is the mirror
so will your sight be limited to the surface, or will you delve deeper? do you dismiss what other's may value? do you allow your own prejudice to infringe on the rights of others? are you so quick to pass along the negative, because then you find yourself superior? do you reach for the part of the elephant that is easiest for you to grasp, or do you attempt to view the unabbreviated animal?
all this I can do is try not to blink when others criticise - I know what I know, and to hell with the rest - I have lived an honest life, gathered here to share the divergent pieces of my experience - I will not be limited by the untrained I's myopia - I will not be bullied, will not tolerate harassment - I will not give up my I because you might have lost yours
you might see unpaid advertisement in a pristine world of originality - I see an opportunity to share unselfishly with others in need
you might see something that you have no use for at all - I see a world full of other individuals who matter as well, each with a unique set of needs and wants
you might see yourself as helpful by instructing me on how to post - I see a bully attempting to self-servingly impose her beliefs on others' expression
you might see a deluge you can't ignore - I see literally thousands of other places to fix your gaze, only a click away
you might see your enjoyment diminished - I see you trying to return the favor by draping your wet blanket words where they don't belong
you might see a need to boycott - I see immaturity and intolerance masquerading as civic pride
you might see change and balk - I see the revolution and come running with a torch to light the way
you might see a swarm of angry bees - I see them too, and we make a resounding buzz
